This isn't really Dragonwars related, but these forums are the only ones I remember my password for, and this is Cyberwars related so this forum will do. The tournament rules are the following:

Choose in a suitably fair random manner who has the first turn 1st.
Alternate 1st turn EVERY round.
If a draw, play that round again, with the same build-up of score, and the same person going 1st.
The first person to win 3 in a row wins the game.

To let you know, I disagree with the winning 3 in a row to win thing.

Should always be two. Three has the possibility of taking far too long.

Oh, and Bakster doesn't have AIM.

Why did some people not have to play prelims?

Is there some reason he can't get AIM, Msn or Yahoo, or use a webmessenger where you don't need to own the program?

4 people don't have to play prelims because Gut chose them as seeded players. They get automatic round 1 status and a quarter of the tourny group to themselves, to make it interesting, the best players are split up. Extra Kudos for knocking out a seed. We're trying to get all non-seeded players opponants in the prelims (as people enter they're randomly assigned to a non-seed to play them in a prelim) and at the moment there are 2 slots left open only. Once those 2 are filled it will be a 28 man tourny, as you can doubtless work out.

Where the hell did this tournament come from anyway? And how the hell did so many players find out?

99% of them have 'Sabre' in their name...

not many duel boarders like to show up to tournaments, so I guess more than half have to be sabres. All good though, it feels great after you beat down on the sabres . Hopefully this tournament will bring more players to cyber battles and more tournaments in the future. If your interested in the tournament please post and you're in.

Fire Sabre is in the finals

Sir Gut is in the semi's and will play the winner between the_guest and bleachy


and since I'm lazy I don't feel like posting the results later so I'll go ahead and post them now...
