Hey,

Just an idea that I thought would be kind of fun. Let's all talk about Battle Thingz! Smiley I know there must be some old Battle Thingz players around here somewhere. Talk about whatever you want that involves Battle Things (for example, rules, game play, exciting matches, the best monsters, etc)!

Sincerely,

Douglas 2085

Hey,

Sorry, Bakster, I'm not really following what you're saying. Do you mean to say there's another topic about Battle Thingz on the forum somewhere that I didn't see? If so, it's probably somewhat old and not really worth "reviving," as it were.

Anyways, it looks like no one is interesting in starting. Therefore, if no one minds, I'll give it a crack and start. Tongue Here goes nothing; wish me luck!

I always thought Battle Thingz was a great game. When I first joined the Castle, as Douglas 2000, around four or five years ago, there was no Battle Thingz. However, when it was created I immediately started playing it and thought it was a great game. At my peak, I had, if I recall correctly, a level 5 Hydra Head, a level 5 Dragon Body, and a level 5 Electric Tail. I believe my monster's power was something like 450, give or take a couple points.

There was one person I could never beat. His name, if I recall correctly, was Phillip. He was one of the best players on the hi-score board. He was a nice guy and was a good sportsman, in my opinion. I must admit, though, he was extremely hard to beat. He had that fire head thing (the one that used fireball or whatever and would "burn" you every turn for like 3 or 4 points of damage for something like 3 or 4 turns), a dragon body, and a dragon tail (if I recall correctly). His monster parts were all level 5. He was one of the few people I could never beat (if I was extremely lucky, I may have beaten him once, but, if I ever did, I don't remember it).

One day I kind of got tired of my monster and decided to get the Alien Head. Unfortunately, I couldn't seem to ever get a level 5 alien head so I got a level 4 alien head. I also got Dragon Tail, but, fortunately, I found a level 5 Dragon Tail. However, shortly after someone had gotten their way into my account and stripped my monster down to a power 15 monster! I could barely even play the game! Luckily, though, I finally won a game and got the best upgrades I possibly could. Soon after that, I had gotten another of my accounts, Douglas 2001, to a decent power and eventually gained a somewhat powerful monster. The last time I played in the Castle, I had an Alien Head, Big Foot, and a Dragon Tail. I believe all my parts were level 4 except the tail, if I recall correctly.

Several times, when I was at my peak, I almost got on the hi-score board. Unfortunately, though, I never quite cut it and, as a result, never made it onto the score board once. Anyways, I thought the game was great! I always enjoyed playing it when I got bored of RuneScape, FlyOrDie, or Pogo.

That's about all for now. I'll be happy to share anything else I can remember (like monster parts, rules, best monster, etc).

Sincerely,

Douglas 2085

There's a 3-page topic about Battle Thingz on the Suggestions board. In fact, I believe you've posted on it.

Hiya,

Oh, that topic! I thought Bakster meant in the General board. Tongue I posted a Battle Thingz topic in here so people could talk about Battle Thingz. Wink Im not suggesting it again. I just made a topic in which people could chat about Battle Thingz. The other topic is a suggestion. My topic isn't a suggestion. In addition, yes, I do believe I posted in it.

Sincerely,

Hey,

You lost me, Gu3st, lol! I have no idea what your saying, let alone if it was meant to be sarcasm or serious.  Undecided In any case, I'm glad you understand why I posted this, Blade (hope you don't mind my shortening your name). Wink

Ok, is this shorter for reason?  Typing 50 characters instead of 10.   Grin

Howdy,

Right here. Smiley My home connection has been disconnected, so I can no longer get on the forums, let alone play the game. Mind you, due to school, I can at least hop on the forum. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to connect. It'll load the game page, but when I try logging in, it says it can't connect. Sad

TTFN!

that's due to firewall. Out of curiosity - does runescape work?

Hey,

Nope, that doesn't work. Mind you, I can go to www.battleon.com and play. ^_^ *sigh* Wish I could get on. I'm probably in something like 18th place on the Cyber Battles score list. Sad Ah well. Tongue I'll always be remembered as a very lucky player and the fourth player to get past 200 points. ^_^ I'll go down in history. Tongue Until, that is, I get a home connection again. Then, I'll be able terrorize everyone with my luck again, lol! Cheesy

Later!
