many people complained about abuse, I had to do something about it. From now you can report abusers.
How to do it: just write to the chatbox:
/report nick_name
- it has to begin with slash (/)
- it works also on guests
- it will store ip's of both involved people, along with snapshot of their recent chat
- subsequently I can ban the nickname AND/OR ip address
PLEASE:
- don't report straight away. Try to warn the person about possible consequences first

Your behaviour was extremely unfair (if you remember two little games with a guest yesterday) and I'm not going to tolerate it.
i think one warning is appopriate we all get a little angry sometimes =)
I have given up my old ways even though all i said was alt+left i apologise to the rest of users for my inapprioriate behaviour.
I always thought alt left was fair game, I fell for it when I was new. it was almost like a right of passage back in the day. But its not my game to set the rules, thats just my opinion

what is the problem with this site/ I have been on here for years never had a problem . I was even a paying member while it was pay to play. Now Im in a middle of a game at 1 in the morning and im kicked out and banned. i dont cussand im 33 years old what is the problem.
It's unlikely (but not impossible) that you were banned without reason. You prior generosity, loyalty and your age are, you have to agree, irreverent if you are breaking rules.
I'm new, been playing for a few days and really enjoy it. I'd like to suggest that a simpler solution to abuse might be to allow users the option to "ignore" all chat, meaning it doesn't show in their browsers. Or, in lieu of this, to ignore a particular user so that you don't receive his chat and private messages. Is this possible? I haven't checked out all the opotions on this site yet. I'm thinking of other game sites like Yahoo games which have both these options. I always turn off all chat and messaging on other sites. It really isn't necessary and can detract from the fun of the game. It would save all the hassle of (1) decent users having to put up with abusers and (2) the whole reporting system. And those who want chat can still use it.

how do you report abuse by a mod - i.e. banning someone simply because they have an opinion that is different from the mods!
Look guys I would like to start off by saying how sorry for the vulgar language conversed through my profile in the recent days. I believe some of my students my have got to my computer while I was away, I was unaware of the situation until it came to my attention when I saw I had been banned from the website. I confronted my students and they have paid the consequences for what they done I am truly sorry and I hope my apology is accepted and my ban is lifted. my Ban ID is 1322 if that is necessary.
