Hey Matlu--

After the disappearence or Cyber Wars, I took it upon myself to recreate it in any way I could.  So I started putting together rules for a board game.  I think they work fairly well, using a ten-sided die for probability and all that jazz.  Only problem I've run into is hologramming... only solution I see to that is to have a moderater to keep track of what's real and what is not.  But, not the point.  I decided to continue work on it, but I need the stats.  Could I request the statistics of all the actions and creatures available in cyber battles?  It would certainly help me out a lot, and since my internet has been going all haywire, it would be hell to try to get them just by playing the game and looking at each one.

                  Thanks.

In fact, I'll tell you what.  If you give me the graphics too, I'll make it a direct representation of your game.  My library hosts board games and stuff almost every week, and I bet if I were to bring it in, I could get most of the people (All teenagers or pre-teens) playing it.  I'll even put your website URL right on the board.  What do you say?

Hello :)

- board game is very interesting idea, but you are not the first one :) Let me give you some background: Long long time ago, there existed computer game named "Chaos". Cyberwars is based on this game. Or to be more accurate: Cyberwars is *simplified* Chaos (really). To not repeat myself, you can read more on old version of duelboard page:  http://www.duelboard.com/about.html
There exists active mailing list for fans of that ancient game. Around one month ago they discussed in details board game based on Chaos, and they also deeply discussed simulation of Holograms (they call them Illusions).
I'm sure you can find this discussion in their archive, and it will answer every question you'd imagine. I believe you can read the archive even without registering (click at "messages" in top left corner)

- it would be VERY helpful if you could promote this game in any way. We badly need more players.
Graphics is publicly available here:

and here:

(but original graphics from cyberwars IS copyrighted be someone, probably yahoo, though it's not sure whether they are still interested in it)
I will email you monster stats

Yeah, it's actually possible to play a modified version of cyberwars using a chess board, an 8-0-8 score sheet (slide ruler works), a 1d8 dice and the chess piece scoring/movement system.

Play with the board at a diagonal, and kings start in the corners.

Works very well & is quite addictive.

Never played with holos, but possibly a 'one turn' beamdown could act as an alternative (100% chance, but only remains on the board for 1 round).
