It probably would work, but I'm not sure about controls, and if it was also really playable. You'll probably have to wait till they come up with 3d monitors... :P

btw somebody was trying to make 3d clone of Chaos. (not 3d board, just 3d view!). I tried it, but it was not finished, and had ugly models.
