Title: Not exactly a bug in connect four
Post by: T3h luggage on July 14, 2005, 05:19:30 PM
Well, I was playing connect four when nobody was available for cyberwars, and the other guy waited longer than his 40-second turn to skip a turn.  In connect four, though, you aren't supposed to be able to skip turns.  It affects the way the game plays.
I'm not sure if there is a solution to this problem, but it would be nice if there was one...

uh... but if both players have possibility to skip their turns, they could do it forever, right?

Do you suggest that I should place there a "skip-turn" button?

Random Drop? Much like random move in checkers?

Yes, random move is what it should be. You shouldn't be able to skip turns in connect 4.

I believe that's how it works. Random move is taken when time runs out
