Miss me? :)
OMG!!! StarSabre! Dude! Do you remember me? :-*
If that was your account on CW, then no, I'm sorry, sadly not...
:'(
lol, that's okay, I've never heard of you either. Then again, it's been 3+ years.
Never heard of you and I doubt you've heard of me either, but welcome to Duelboard. :)
Hi.
Thank you all for being so welcoming. :O I'm more interested in Zz, Song, Joker, Gut and co, though. For the record, I founded the Sabres eight years ago in Gamesdomain. We were a big clan in Cyberwars, and the first. :)
We've all heard about the Sabres ::)
Practically everyone here is anti-sabre. I doubt you've heard an unbiased account. ;)
Well the Sabres reformed twice and started teaming everybody unfairly. I was one of those that joined the Anti-Sabres, but that clan never really got anywhere :-\
StarSabre is one of those people who has to have a 6 player game. I hate it when people do that. >:(

oh of course. ;)
nice to see you finally decided to try the game out. :P
Of the 30 odd games I played today, I think less than 8 were 6 player. Also we don't team unfairly, and we haven't "reformed twice." Get your facts straight.
well we had a 6 player before and it was fun ;D
:D
Lets just say the bottom team owned the top team *cough sabres cough* ;)

Sabre's 'reformed' their clan here under King_Sabre I think his name was. Then he stopped playing and they quietly dispersed.
Then someone else came along...(Dragon_Sabre?) and he recruited some more sabres, they ran a short, depressing reign, before retreating embarrassed into the shadows once more.
Until you :)
Oh and I'm also Anti-Sabre ;)
Yeah, dodger got it right. And the sabres still suck...and they will continue to suck :P
Clans on a game with a player base of ~400-500 are useless. All it does is promote unfair teaming and cheating.

I couldn't have said it better.

There are that many players here :o
By the way....the sabres are "hasbeens". So even if you were the founder, that doesn't mean anything around here. :D

I am Star Sabre and King Sabre. Different names for different games. The King who came here was an imposter. Dragon Sabre is also unknown. Sabres have never officially formed here, all previous attempts were false. Also, we are not has-beens, we simply switched to RS, where we have a membership not that much smaller than the playerbase for this game. Me and some others are now moving back here.
As to the criticisms of clans in a game like this, I don't believe there's anything wrong with friends playing together and using a clan system to stay in touch, have a sense of unity and playing as a team, etc. We don't unfairly team, if the teams are anything less than even, we inform the enemy that we are teaming specifically prior to the game, to make sure they know. There is nothing unfair about it. We take pride in being honourable. The sabre name shows commitment to the clan, and we are always safe from backstabbing from team mates. We bear no ill-will towards other cyberwars players, and I see no reason for hostility towards us. We simply wish to play the game and have fun. If you wish to label yourself an anti-sabre, so be it.
Finally, being the founder may or may not count for much around here, I was simply identifying myself for people who did not know. Apologies if my saying "Hey" somehow caused offence to anybody.
I dont mine the clan being around, brings back old memories. I think i wanna kick some sabre ass :o ;) :P
That's the spirit, Sir_Gut. Come on right now. I miss our duels. :P

I'm sorry if I appeared hostile. I have nothing but respect for Sabres, if it's for real this time.
Just causing a little friendly competition :)
See you in game. ;D
Oh, ok. Nothing wrong with friendly competition, or rivalry against the clan. We welcome it, in fact, it gives us something to do, and shows we're making an impact. We just dislike genuine hostility. I'll see you in game also. :)
StarSabre, do you like pie?
I have no particularly strong feelings on pie or any member of the pastry food group. :O
Pssht, weirdo.
pie sucks, like guest
Has anyone else noticed that loads of *_Sabres have been signing up on the forum? :-\
Mystifying. :P

Please note what he says in the penultimate line, Dodger, re your earlier statements about us being here. :)
I posted somewhere about the old "sabre" clan on here being a fake whenever they arised.
As for the number of Sabres comming to CB: more targets for you cannons, eh? :P As Star has mentioned, any competion would be honored as long as it doesn't turn into blind prejudice. And I'm glad that amoung those who we will be facing are some of the best that CB has to offer. As I've come to notice, with the difference of playerbase between CW and CB, losing all the time can actually be more fullfilling than winning all the time.

I apologise again, I was wrong. Dragon_Sabre should be hunted.
But in essence, Sabre's did come back periodically.

Whenever you want to arrange a battle, count me in. 2v2 would be even better :)
It's so much more satisfying when you beat clan members. ;)
Ok ok enough :P. I'd have been mighty annoyed myself at the clan if I'd had these fakelet nublets running around for the last few months in my game and hadn't known them as fake. :P
