I would imagine that "not too ugly" would be something that's still tidy and precisely drawn (and uses subdued colours), but it can be "quick-and-ugly" in the sense that it doesn't have any complicated animation or shading.
I'm going to find this too boring actually, but if anyone else likes the idea?

I'm sorry to say this, but they lack a little something I like to call shading...
