Of course the easiest thing to do from all mentioned, is to add new creatures. It can be done within few minutes.

the caveat with adding new monsters is re-examining the balance of the game then

so just be careful

heh, currently there is no counter-balance for the tentacle, so it pwns all, as I say whenever one is beamed (Tentacle pwns ALL, man, ALL!)
Maybe something for that, but otherwise, we'd have to introduce new things in pairs.
